Welcome to The Herodotian!

We are a student-led history magazine based at the University of Oxford. Founded in the summer of 2025, we aim to provide a platform for a wide range of ideas, discussions and debate within the field of History, accepting submissions from all students under a termly theme which can be found on the homepage of this website.

The Herodotian is a proudly free-speech, nonpartisan publication. Opinions expressed in articles are those of the individual writers only and do not reflect the views of the Herodotian.
